This girl is a blast be around! She brought so many new and creative ideas to her pre-session consult I couldn't wait for her session day. We were pretty bummed when we had to reschedule because of rain but I'm so glad we did. From the hallways and bookshelves of Mater Dei to the Great River Road and Loading Dock in Grafton this day could not have been more perfect. Sweet Caroline, nothing describes her more perfectly. We could not have been more excited when she decided to become one of our first Supermodels! After starting the day with hair and makeup (and ski) and a couple outfits, we were off to the city! The City Museum rooftop made for gorgeous backdrops at every angle. Even for those who have a acute fear of heights. Right, Amy? We then ventured to Tower Grove Park for a gorgeous sunset shoot. We enjoyed getting to know her and her mom even more during our very first time eating at Pi and ended the with a night shoot on Washington Ave. Caroline I hope you had as fun as we did on your Supermodel Experience and we have no doubt your positive and sweet personality will take you far in life.
MADISON- Wesclin High School [Southern Illinois Senior Photographer]
A few weeks ago we had a blast photographing Madison... aside from the bees and mosquitos that seemed to plague us at almost every location we chose. She was such a good sport and was willing tough it out and we are so glad she did! From graffiti to sunflowers to a very special necklace, Madison's images could not be more stunning. Mr & Mrs Daniken [Southern Illinois Wedding Photography]
Crystal has a long history of any time she gets her hair and make-up done, it rains. So, naturally, we had multiple back-up plans for their big day. But, when it finally came, it couldn't have been more gorgeous! A perfect 75 degrees and sunny with a light breeze. As the ceremony was starting and the flower girls made their way down the isle, I promise it could have been something out of a movie. They were giggling, skipping and throwing petals in the air together, one of the sweetest entrances ever, leaving a gorgeous purple trail for the Bride to arrive. The ceremony was wonderful, ending with the Bride and Groom, and their bridal party, driving off in a Limousine to the reception. There was a lot of celebrating, a lot of smiles and a lot of love passed around on Crystal and Daniel's Big Day. Congratulations to you both and we wish you many, many years of happiness!
Fall Specials [Southern Illinois Photographer]
Fall is such a great time for portraits! The colors, the weather, the adorable accessories like scarves and boots all mesh together to create gorgeous images! This year, we have two awesome specials for the fall season. The first is a children's session. This session will be outdoors and contain multiple set-ups. There will be tall grass, golden leaves, rustic barn wood, fall flowers, of course pumpkins and even a rope swing! The kids will have a great time going between sets, playing with the pumpkins and on the swing. They really will be classic fall portraits. The special is October 3rd & 4th and each client will receive a 30 minute appointment as well as 10 digital files on a CD. Further, you'll also receive an online gallery to share those images with friends and family members! Appointments are required and they are filling up quickly so grab yours soon!
And, if you want to do something with the entire family, we have that available, too! Like we mentioned above, fall is the best time for family portraits! Wether it's to update that empty wall before relatives come over for the holidays or to get the perfect images to use for your holiday card or as gifts, now is the time to captures those images so they are ready in time! Our Fall Family Special is October 10th & 11th. Each client will receive $50 off their session fee AND an additional $50 off any portrait package!
